    I posted the same quote, I love it. I have seen so many teachers try to complete a lesson even though the children have no interest or desire in the task. I believe its not about the lesson it should be about the child and what they are interested in. From here you adapt the lesson to their needs and then you will be able to truly teach.

  3. Jill, Thank you for you blog. I have enjoyed reading and commenting on the ideas and research you have presented over this course. The quote you posted speaks to me. I am a teacher and all too often I see teachers eager to label children ADHD because they don't know the appropriate developmental abilities of their students or they don't want to tailor their instruction to meet the various needs of their students. I wish you lots of luck in the future.
